General Broken passenger seat sliding mechanism

Hi,
A charging cable got caught up in the mechanism under the front passenger seat, causing it to stop sliding (forwards or backwards) when pulling the lever under the seat. The passenger decided to push the seat as hard as possible to get it to move (which it didn't) and the mechanism is fully broken now.

The seat got stuck perfectly over the bolts I need to access to remove the seat from the car and fix/remove the mechanism underneath, leaving me unable to find the reason it won't slide.

The lever under the seat doesn't click into place at all and moving the back of the seat forward then trying to slide the seat isn't working either.

Any advice would be appreciated
