Right folks, its time to organise our next event. We are going to be at Knockhill racing circuit, scotlands largest circiut, for the british drifting championships and streetcar scotland. The unfortunate thing is I need Definites ASAP as closing date for entries is the 16th September.

About the event
Its knockhill, notoriously known for rain, so come prepared. For those who have never been to knockhill, its about 5 miles north of dunfermline towards Saline. As you might already know, knockhill is a short track measuring only 1.3 miles, the shortest track on the BTCC calender. You can probably walk the course in less than 30 minutes its that short. On track, you will be able to see some of the best drifters in the UK going broadside around the corners, which they will be entering the corners in excess of 50mph sideways. Not too sure about this year but the last time I, personally, was there, you could pay to have a shot with a driver around a small figure of 8 drifting, can't remember the price but absolutely fantastic. There are some trade stands which I don't know what they will be this year.

Pricing
ALL drivers £8 (In advance!) (Payment details below)
Passengers £10 (or £12 at the gate)

Prior knockhill arrangements:
Meet at Odeon Dunfermline (KY11 8EX) at 8:30AM then head to Knockhill Racing Circuit at 9AM.

Payment
IF you ARE going to be attending, send payment via paypal to the email address "[email protected]". Please be aware that anyone who doesn't pay in advance won't get on the stand, simples! Also, I'm not taking the "I'll pay you on the day" crap neither as I've been burned by people who have said that before.

1) Lewis
2) Mr Bump

How many do we need to attend to make this a definite and also any chance of a bit more information for those who don't know what the set-up is.

I mean as in what we can expect on the day. Do we turn up, set up stand and then go watch the racing? If you're down as a driver I'm assuming that means you simply have a car there for the day and not that you're taking it on track. Where is the stand going to be?

Just whatever you know about the day itself from your own experience as some of us have never been there and it might appeal more to folks if they know what to expect.

btw, I will be there

Driver means the driver of the car that goes on the stand. I'm not too sure about what sort of space or where about the stand will be located as it all depends on the number of people that go.

As for whats on, on the day... Its knockhill, notoriously known for rain. For those who have never been, its about 5 miles from dunfermline towards Steelend. As you might already know, knockhill is a short track measuring only 1.3 miles. You can probably walk the course in less than 30 minutes. On track, we should be able to see some of the best drifters in the UK going broadside around some of the corners, which one's I don't know, however the last time I was there, they used the first 3 corners. Also, the cars will be entering the corners in excess of 50mph sideways. Again, the last time I was there, you could pay to have a shot with a driver around a small figure of 8 drifting, can't remember the price though. There are some trade stands which I don't know what they will be this year.
