I might come along since I'm not going to england that week now.
I won't be putting the punto on the track though... but could always go on as passenger..... Ming!!!!!!!!!!!

You could have jumped in with me but iam sure my son will be coming along as always? but that could change? but i doubt it.... he wouldn't normally miss a track day so iam sure he'll be there, although i doubt Ming will let you down :)

Cheers Scuderia

There's a chance I might make it to this, but depends on how the job search pans out and if it did whether I could get the relevant day/night off. Wouldn't be taking the Stilo on track though, would just be an interested observer :)

I will probably have a passenger seat available..HGT Hot Laps!..or should I take the Spider round?

It sure would be good to see the Spider out on the track... :) but i would guess the hgt would give you a better hot lap time?are you taking the Spider along to Hopetoun House on the Sunday? if so it might be better to take the hgt,

Iam going to have to take the Cento home on the Friday after being out on the track and get it cleaned up ready for the show on the Sunday,

Go easy on them brakes this time gengis lol,

Cheers Scuderia

John I think Don's got a point here, use the HGT for the Track & Spyder for the Show.

I'll be giving Dubster a wash probs on the Saturday evening, as out all day on the Saturday with my Step dad at Bo'ness & Kinneil Railway.

Should be an inetersting week, spend the week at home, weather permitting might get the dogs down to Troon beach, Konckhill Friday night, out all day Sat,was the GP sat evening, show all day Sunday.

Ming...There is a passenger fee.

Andi...Spider has disc's all round, already have been round the track in the spider a couple of years ago, wasted front nearside tyre, brake fade, and brain fade. Times between the Spider and HGT not that far apart, good corner speed in the Spider.

The brakes on the Spider have been changed to Marea vented disc's up front. Hgt brakes are still fitted with cheap and cheerfulls, so are'nt that effective, still good enough for another track night.

Oooh so then what's it to be John???
Spyder or Bravo????

Hi,

Sorry guys but iam not going to make this event.....although never say never,

I have chosen to spend my cash having the Cento's vernier pulley swung along with a few runs on the rollers,so if i do have enough cash i'll try my best to make it?,but i doubt it!,

So Hopetoun House will be my last outing this year before i SORN it,then its time to spend some more cash.... :)

Cheers Don

Hi All,

Well i can confirm i will not be at this track event tonight with the Alfa club,

I just can't afford it,i have plans for the Cento next week so that gets priority....every time!,For those of you that are still going? i hope you have good night out,and remember! if its damp or raining up there tonight? stay the off the painted areas when cornering!!!,there like glass!, but if you like pointing in the wrong direction?, or sitting in the gravel?, by all means feel free to use them lol, they'll keep you informed on the safety briefing any why but i just though i would mention it,

Cheers Don

I don't think anyone from here is going Don.
There's been no posts since 18th July, which was you.
I cba...

Mmmh i think you could be right?,that's a shame as its a good night out!,It has stayed dry here most of the day with the odd little bit of drizzle but its never came to nothing but it looks like its going to be a dry night on the track?, that said Knockhill is covered by low cloud at the minute as i can see it from the kitchen window and that's not normally a good sign :( ,

Edit : Just in case your wondering?, why can i see all these areas from my home lol?, i don't live in a lighthouse lol, iam just lucky that i can see Hopetoun House from the rear of my house...Just! and Knockhill from the front,

Cheers Don

I was intending going to this, but now that the HGT has been pressed into daily service it wasn't available in time. Don are you staying in a one man tent on top of that new crane at Rosyth docks?
