General Bravo Station Wagon

Hahah your from London, it's an ESTATE car over here. Station wagon is horrifically American.

Yea im from London and i normally called cars like that a estate.. however im passing on the fiat thing of calling it a station wagon.. just as the stilo SW.

Im not american and nor do i want to be, my parents are italian, the home to some of the best motors around like the BRAVO!!(y)

and apparently FIAT are also considering a Bravo MPV to replace the Multipla in 2010...looks good too :)

I'd agree with the "Weekend", or BMW's "Touring" would seem appropriate. Station Wagon brings to mind a wallowey wood-sided yank tank, with a couple of steers in the back, driven by a couple of cowboys to Brokeback Mountain.:D

According to Italian magazine Auto (auto.it), following the partnership between FIAT and Chrysler, the Bravo SW should come on the market some time in 2010.

It should as, according to this magazine, seeing that the Bravo didnt do so well as much as it was expected, FIAT might concentrate on a new station wagon based on the forthcoming Alfa Romeo Milano (Alfa 149)

I'd pick up on 2 points there.

1. Why would the partnership between FIAT and Chrysler make any difference to the potential future of the Bravo Weekend.

2. Fiat would shoot themselves in the foot releasing a 149 Sportwagon which would directly compete with the 159 Sportwagon.

looks like the bravo estate never happened....great shame as i would love a sport version to transport my 2 big dogs around....:D

jesus, ive not sunk that low(no disrespect to doblo owners, you have your reasons, that only you and your closest friends are allowed to discuss im sure)

thats a cracking graphic too,mr mod, as i have 2 shephards(hence my comments)...

2 big dogs need loads of space though which the doblo has and you still have your 5 sears. Also uses the 1.9JTD engine so performance is nearly on par and easily tuned if that's your thing.

As for sheps I have a plastic boot tray that lifts out for a quick wash to get dog hairs off leaving rest of the car clean and tidy. Even the biggest shep could stand upright with about 2feet in height left, I have had a shep, freezer, toolbox in the boot alone easily.

Functionality over appearance I admit but having a shep in back of a punto was a nightmare especially when it appears in your rear view mirror....literally!

What car are you using now?
