Recently been having a bit of trouble with my panda brakes (999cc 2x4 non servo)

I can put the brake pedal to the floor and the tyres dont get to the locking up point (I know they're nearly there though, they will lock on poor surfaces)

Bled the brakes this weekend although only removing a bit of fluid from each brake rather than bleeding the whole brake line.

The tyres are continental eco contact 3 (165/65 R13) which seem to be very grippy, the brakes would lock these up as new tyres but now they're well bed in i have the above problem.

Whats the next step?
Cheers
Ben

Does the pedal feel ok? When you say to the floor, do you mean it actually touches the floor? Maybe bleeding them has trapped some air. Youre really supposed to get all the old fluid out, I use a syringe to first disturb all the gunk in master cylinder, then suck it out. Then, bleed the brakes, that way all the old crud gets taken out.

It did touch the floor before bleeding, its a bit firmer now but cant remember if it touches the floor. I think it probably does.

Do you think its just a case of bleeding it all again?
Thanks

So if you slowly put your foot down until its as hard on the pedal as you can, they wont lock?

Pads have loads left on them

I don't know if it helps with conclusions or anything, but last year when the 750L was my main car, the brakes would lock-up if I wanted them to by pushing harder on the pedal.

But I did notice on the odd occasion when I had a full car load (with a 17stone friend in the car aswell as others, how the poor 769cc engine moved us I don't know, lol) that know matter how hard I push or stomped on the pedal, the car wouldn't lock-up.

Not had the same problems in the Selecta which is my main Panda this year, but it does have Servo brakes, and only tends to lock up with sudden sharp braking.
