Hello, I'm new here.
Can you help me.
I need to buy replace the discs and pads on my March 2015 Ducato Dethleffs Globecar G2 relax 2.3 130.
Using my registration number on numerous parts suppliers websites, they offer a lot of possible sizes ( 274, 279, 280, 300 disc diameters) , ( 24, 26, 28, & 32mm thickness), ( 72, 79mm centre hole), and brake pad sizes...
Surely there must be a way of ordering the correct parts ?
( ordering a Gates cam belt kit with water pump is easy in comparison)
Any advice will be much appreciated.

Hello,

I'd rather try with the VIN number.

The wheel (rim) size and the chassis have an influence on the type of the brakes. And the rear axis (FIAT or ALCO), but it seems you have a commercial van body, so most probably it's a FIAT axis.

You need them for the front, or the rear?

According to the official technical specs:

The 1st line is some kind of payload, but depending on the body type. Calculating from the base van mass I think. So has nothing to do with the payload in the registration certificate. The qt stands for quintals. 17 qt is 1700 kgs.

Mine is 17qt, which is Heavy Duty chassis on 16" rims. This can be decoded from the VIN at a dealership for example. The registration certificate says the payload is 900 kgs.

800 kgs are missing somewhere. The aluminium box has its weight, but I have no idea how much. I'd not however think that much :(

Motorhome conversion is also quite heavy. If you don't have any documents in which those should be found I'd ask Dethleffs. They should be able to provide you with some specification.

Looking at the specs of a similar model here:

and at the specs in the x290 catalogue from the download section I see that the van is most probably this one:

However this table says Payload 15 qt...

Which will probably be a Maxi (heavy) chassis L3H2.

Can you check the identification plate under the bonnet? It should give you the GVW in the first line just below the VIN. In my opinion should be 3500 kgs.

Hi, thanks so much for helping !
It is an L3H2.
15" wheels
Vin plate ZFA250
3300kg, 5800kg, 1- 1750kg, 2 - 1900kg
Versione 250BMMFC EY1
I didn't appreciate the number of axle permutations.... until now.
The Quintals: I don't see where to get that information?
