Technical Blue & me has kicked the bucket!!!!!

My Blue & Me has stoped working for no reason I have tryed to re-pair both mine and my wifes mobiles and it pairs ok but when i turn the car off and get back in after none of the phones will conect to it and when I press the button on the steering wheel it say NO CONNECTION PLEASE TRY AGAIN LATER.......


And my local fiat dealer has just gone bust so now have to travel 60 miles to the nearest 1

YUP.......have also checked the phones is working ok by sending stuff to other peoples phones via bluetooth

Disconnect the cars neg terminal on the battery and leave for a few hours!

It will reset the ECU - usually - but Id disconnect the battery completely as some components will still get power to them and my have thier own earth

Go figure, thats what I was told to do when resetting my mk2 Punto's ECU.

I had the exact same problem, at the dealership they just said it needed updating and done it for me. You can download it onto an ipod etc, then plug it into your car and upload it onto the system.

My point was, don't connect the two battery terminals together, but I hope no-one on here is stupid enough to do that.

Seriously, I really wouldn't connect the disconnected positive cable to earth to discharge stored charge instantly. Without knowing EXACTLY what is connected, there is the possibility of high currents flowing the wrong way, possibly even blowing a fuse. Trust me, I have a BSc in Electrical & Electronic Engineering.
