500 Blue and Me Steering Wheel Control - HELP!

Hi all

I have a 2011 Fiat 500. Until recently my blue & me worked fine with my iPhone and when I was playing music I could change tracks using the controls on the steering wheel - however this has now stopped working!

The steering wheel controls work when I am playing the radio, the volume controls work when my iPhone is plugged in. Just the buttons to change tracks have stopped, sounds like a small thing but it is SO irritating!

I’ve tried disconnecting and repairing my phone but this didn’t fix it.

Any ideas?! Please help!

I had to change some settings inside the panel menu on my 2009 500 Lounge in order to JUST turn shuffle off. Also had to use the stupid voice commands.
There's some crazy hidden and hard to configure settings, as I've seen a video of someone showing how to use the radio buttons to skip a USB music, change folders, etc. Which had to be toggled via the voice commands...
It's been HELL using the blue and me system. I 100% despise it 200% hate it 300% wish it fixed.
Do read your "blue & me" manual if you still have it, as the voice commands are listed in there.

I'm sure that I have read that the Blue & Me units can fail. Mine worked okay but I replaced the stereo for a better aftermarket one and hooked up the steering wheel controls with an adapter so that I can ignore it. I would recommend anyone to replace the standard stereo.
