Technical black smoke

Hi new to forum I Have 2009 250 ducato motorhome and drive it hard when using its a 130 but remapped some time age. has started churing excessive black smoke out, running fine and no loss of power but causing hazard behind ! Any ideas !
Had similar issues prior to remap when first new and was told ERG needed replaced done under warranty, Can these be cleaned and replaced?

It may well be the EGR again but it would be worth reading the error codes.

Its not just the EGR that gets clogged up, the inlet manifold and the throttle body can also suffer. The EGR can usually be cleaned but it is time consuming which is why the garages just change them.
