Hi there guys, new here, I'm posting as I need some advice on my fiat 500x (2015) I had an oil change done yesterday but my mobile mechanic didn't bring his code reader to get rid of the warning light on the dash, I've watched videos to try & get rid myself but it's not worked, in my book it says I can disconnect the battery for a couple minutes to see if this gets rid of it but I don't know how to disconnect my battery, any advice welcome, thank you.

Hello,

Usually such information should be listed in the owner's handbook. I don't know if you've got one.

I've just uploaded to the download section of the forum, it should be available shortly:

If there's a procedure described, respect it to avoid any problems with the airbag module.

Check also if there isn't a code for the radio required.

Personally I think disconnecting the battery won't reset the service warning light, but it's worth checking.

I'm sure there isn't a radio code, I have had the battery changed but it was done by a garage.
