I could be asking a stupid question here. But.... would the 3.2 V6 Alfa Fit in a B?

I need to know what engines fit the B as mine is at 150,000K so I will change it next year for a new one. So something with more power would be good.

Anything will fit if you pay enough money, I know of someone who fitted a Formula 5000 engine into a Ford Cortina!

2.0 Alfa twin spark? 155 bhp out of the box.

I'd wait for confirmation, but it's very similar to the 1.8 engine - which after all is a 1.8 twin spark, just without the twin plugs. Only thing that might be an issue is the extra clearance around the cam belt area - there's also a balancer shaft belt which pushes things out a little further.

It seems to depend on the engine, my 2.0 156 didn't use much.

I have been told on here that the Arese Alfa 2.5 V6 will not fit.

the alfa 2.0 twin spark i s about 1 inch wider due to the balancer shafts
recently a guy appeared on our polish forum
who did fit the 2litre twin spark, but he removed the balancer shafts
and made a "custom fit" from the bottom of the alfa engine, and the upper part from oem B

My cousin has a 2.00 ltr twin spark, and even though we are close i still get the upper hand when having a go with his. My B is 153bhp.
Havent had a chance to get the Turbo on yet. but looking forward to the upgrade.

153.. impressive - what are the mods?
my is about 141-143 with induction kit, cat-back and few even minor mods
