no offence to anyone who's 'considering' this car, but can't quite afford it, and is saving, and , if it was x month ..etc ... seriously, of you even have to consider the money an HGTs not for you. if you run it on a shoestring budget you'll neglect it and you'll he the last owner the poor car ever has. it pisses me off when nice cars like these get so cheap that people without much money can afford to buy them. and then not to run them.

Ironically I want an HGT because I love them, and money is no object. but i can't buy what i want for love nor money because it doeesn't exist anymore! They're all tinkered with or modded or buggered . for god's sake.

agreed!

the cam belt and clutch cost about 400 quid each to sort out/replace

there not great on fuel

and there a fiat, they need to be looked after!

900 quid for that car, its a bargain! dont insult the chap by offering him less, its worth much more than he is asking

HGT on Not HGT!

Hi All thanks for all the comments, no problem Lee too!

It's very hard to find a decent HGT as you say nowadays, i've had four bravos two of them HGT's a MK1 and This MK2...took me ages to find this one which although has some modifications is a very good well loved amd looked after car.Infact the previous owner who was a keen fiat enthusiast changed the cambelt even though it had been done only 10000 miles before with reciepts to by the previous owner, just so he could be sure it was right and he could see it was done!

Id love a mint original one...but they aren't out there ..this was as good as i could get within my budget

no buyers at the moment so i might just mothball it for the time being!

cheers all!
