I'll probably head to England on the Thursday and then travel the rest of the way on the Friday. Luckily I've got family in Morecambe which provides a nice stopping place so hopefully staying there Thursday night and then join the convoy south if there's one on the go.
Course it also depends if I can get booked into a hotel on the Friday night... Must try and sort that out today

So that's the welsh contingent sorted. Never been to a car show before, plenty of bike shows. So up at 3am for the drive down.
What time do things usually wrap up. Just so I know what time I shall be home on the RAC lorry?

not been to brooklands,
but from the other shows,- between 15:00 and 17:00 as the "judging" results / prize giving is @4 pm..,

I used to go to the bike show in Builth Wells every year, but since Dyfed Powys police shut it down after that chap got shot dead coming back from the bulldog bash, I haven't had any biggish shows to go to. Well if you discount British super bike rounds. Of which two were done in a cinq. Croft circuit and oulton park.
Should be good, from what I've read. I'm looking forward to it.

LONG time since I've seen bikes at the Royal Welsh too,
( that shooting wasn't far from me..)
