Audi TT Coupe Quattro 225.

Introduction

Little preview picture of my new project i mean car

2052976-6.jpg

Its already been modified as im sure the private plate and the day running lights and the 3.2 v6 bumper show but theres still plenty to do!

im way excited, but ive got another weeks wait before i can get her home as its having a new steering rack fitted before i hand the cash over. but its worth it the 1.8l 4pot 20valve ko3 turbocharger is very tuneable :D

if anyone saw my grande punto tjet theyll know i like a shiny colourful engine bay and this car will be no different, already ordered a few bits going for a silver/blue theme this time round.

Btw if all your going to say is why a TT or the various hilarious TT jokes then dont bother posting.

why new plates? its a 1.8turbo 20valve engine hense the 20v tt :p or is it the spacing cause underneath both front and rear are the originals that are spaced r20 vtt (y)

i will get some more pictures up a couple at night aswell! i have a fair few plans for her i just dont know wether to go for a blue/silver theme or red/silver i think blue suits better but the inside is red dials and lighting so :S but whatever colour itd be the usual silicone engine piping, calipers and other little bits to colour code alongside some more performance based pieces :D

Re: Audi TT Coupe Quattro 225

still more parts to arrive, wouldnt it be brilliant if the companys you dealt with actually fullfilled orders either in time or supplying the correct part but thats obviously far to much to ask! in the last 2years of ordering car parts for the punto, rx8 and tt i think only 10% of orders havent resorted in me running round the companys and delivery firms, ffs it isnt that hard

Re: Audi TT Coupe Quattro 225

Re: Audi TT Coupe Quattro 225

SHINY  goodluck keeping that clean though :D

Looks like good progress, after all the engine mods are done... what's next?

umm i dunno whats next, got a few ideas

well after the inlet manifold and charge pipe goes on ill be getting a new induction TIP blue of course, for style and performance as around 4-5000rpm full boost the factory tip collapses on remapped cars lol

maybe exhaust next 3inch downpipe and decat thatll free up some more power as the cat back section is 3inch so itll be nice and free flowing and get rid of the roll tip exhaust tips :yuck: change to a straight clean cut tip like on my punto (y)

brakes, new brake lines, paint the calipers blue maybe with the audi brake decal i seen on ebay, new pads ebc red/greenstuff maybe even new discs ive seen dimbled 6grove discs front and rear as the current set up the rears are stock and the front are drilled with not much life left on them and starting to crack :(

Re: Audi TT Coupe Quattro 225

shes all fixed (y)

so heres some pictures as requested, there would be more at each stage but i find i get too into something then by the time i remember photos its half back together lol

Rusty charge pipe cradle got some treatment
DSCN05351.JPG

looks okay doesnt it? no engine covers and throttle body playing up aswell as upper boost hose blew clean off the first intercooler :bang: on my test run
DSCN0537.JPG

spot the difference? :p
charge pipe off again for that upper boost hose and the panel infront of the dipstick guide that i forgot to connect the sensor up to haha
DSCN0536.JPG

a few shots off the car (touch wood) sorted and running fine, done most of the 4mm,6mm and 8mm hosing as i could with the length i ordered, upper boost hoses, polished throttle body, inlet manifold cam cover and charge pipe, changed most of the once use clips or screws for stainless steel, new cambelt, water pump, oil, oil filter, new coolant umm maybe other stuff too i cant remember right now, just a few more parts to arrive :D
