Anyone used Carphone Warehouse?

Just I'm looking at phones still and the one(s) I actually want aren't available on the o2 upgrade page. I'm after either a HTC Desire Z or the Desire HD.

Figure worst comes to worst I'll get a normal HTC Desire and if I don't like it, sell that plus my old iPhone 3G and get a sim-free version of one of the above models. Just really wanting a newer/faster phone.

Just I've heard some bad things about them, not Phones 4U bad but not exactly glowing reports. I'm considering them as an option though as there seems to be some greater flexibility in the contracts/phones on offer. Don't want to switch network though if I can avoid it as I'm pretty happy with o2.

i use http://www.e2save.com, which is a sister company for carphone warehouse. When my phone broke i just took it into a carphone warehouse shop.

Got my last 2 contract withthem now without any trouble and their cashback offer is great.

i use sister company atm and its a pain in the arse. previous phones ive had from carphone directly are great never had any bother with them.

atm when my phone broke its £50 for them to repair it where as if i had it straight from them it would be £20 excess. all in all deal wouldnt be as good (no free ds which i didnt want anyways) but its better if it brakes. they swap/repair your phone without any fuss and give you courtesy phones too. no trouble with them tbh.

used them a few years ago and tbh have no complaints about them
