Hi, I'm thinking of getting some alloys as the original steel wheels are pretty rusty. Which ones fit straight on with no modification? Do X19 wheels fit? What's the ideal offset and width etc? Thanks :)

Try the cinquecento abarth wheels
Looks great on a Panda

Yes I like them, no problem with offset etc? What size tyres can you use?

I think 165/55 R13
I can check for you in the morning

That's what's on them on the cinq anyway. They are however a bit small for a Panda and annoyingly rare and expensive as anyone in the 'cento sections will tell you. 165/65/13 are a lot easier to get and cheaper and a better fit on ours unless your rims already come with the lower profiles on and you don't want to change them.

Lol I managed to talk the missus round! The original wheels are far too rusty and will need a proper refurb. Think it's better off investing in some alloys, plus those tyres are so dam thin!

Gah!

I've been after those x1/9 rims for ages and finally found a set at the other end of the sodding country which I will collect at great expense only to be beaten to fitting a set!

What's more annoying is I have a set of the other rims in the back of the car waiting to go onto the right car!

I suppose I will have to bite the bullet and have the minilites restored to be different now!

Have you not got those Monte Carlo rims?

As above, you will need longer bolts, and the bolt heads are different for alloys too to fit in the deep tapered seats, CC ones should be OK or just measure how much less thread is showing when you poke the bolts through the alloy compared to the standard steel wheel and order bolts that much longer. Bolts are M12x1.25. Really shouldn't need spacers, the Cinq rims are quite a low offset compared to standard so already sit quite far out in the arches.
