I am after some alloys for my Panda CLX, I have been looking around but fiat alloys are quite hard to come by, well certainly in my area.

What modern caars would i be able to take alloys from which would fit, I know the panda is a 4x98 PCD stud pattern, but do not know which other modern cars are.

Any help would be appreciated.

Plenty around!

Most Fiat wheels are four stud and 98 PCD, so stick with the real thing for peace of mind. A popular Fiat wheel to fit to Pandas are the Cinquecento Sporting alloys. You can fit 100 pcd wheels meant for other manufacturers but you'll need "wobbly" bolts. Personally I wouldn't fit those as I'd rather it all bolted up without resorting to non standard fittings.

I had looked on ebay before but never found this many.

Im watching a set of punto sporting alloy that I can drop some low profile tyres on.

Thanks.

If they are 15's then you will need 195/45/15s and you will still need to roll the arches(n)

14's with 185/55/14s will fit (185/60/14s maybe) but most fit 13inch alloys to keep things simple.

They are 14's, im pretty sure they are 175/55/14s so they should fit in, a set of 15's should fit with really low profile tyres without the need of having the arches rolled and flared.

My younger brother is running a set of 19"s on his rover 200 without having the arches done, and hasn't had any problems, apart from the price of the tyres that is...lol.

I will be looking at 13's and 14's only anyway as I don't want to be buying low profile tyres all the time as it can get stupidly expensive.

Floyd used to be on Cinq sporting alloys but the car used to be soooo tough to drive with my weak arms.....But anyway here's a pic :D

Keep an eye on the offset when buying wheels. I've test-fitted some Uno Turbo rims and they need a little bit of spacing at the back to avoid rubbing the inside of the arch/brake pipes/fuel filler pipe. They're something like -42. Cinqs and Seis sit 10mm further out so will pop straight on without fuss, and make the car look like it's wearing trainers. :)

Could be different and get the steelies banded or fit wider steels...

Thats not a bad idea, I may look into this, It could add something extra to the car. Thinking about it I could get some old style steelies with the chrome hubcaps, that may look pretty interesting on the panda...
