Styling alfa 156 seats

Im not sure if there is a size difference between the 156 and 166, but these seats are very big! :( I set about stripping bits off of them last night so if anyone needs anything they can come pick them up.

Ming,
I like that idea, but having taken the Subaru mounts off (they were not suitable) I need to raise the mounting point up from the floor by around 45mm as the Subaru seat bases are wider than the Cinq ones.

I'll be showing how I'm doing this over the weekend.

If you want to raise it, which is what i done with my recaro, is to use 2 long box sections that goes across the 2 mounting point then drill hole to suit the scooby runner?

I haven't really seen it, just guessing, so could all well be wrong!

If all goes well i'll be picking up a full Alfa GTV interior on monday, for the grand sum of $0

From what i remember from test-sitting in GTVs, those seats are very very good, nice and low, lots of sideways support, near racing-buckets really. If all goes well these will be going into my Cinq in lieu of the standard sporting seats.

Will have to find a way to deal with the alfa logos in the centers of the seats though. I love alfa's, in fact the GTV is sort of a dream-car for me, but i dont want the cinq to be looking like a wannabe.

The GTV seats are a bit thinner I think, and quite high sided. It will be difficult to eliminate the alfa badges without leaving holes

Thankfully they dont have the large alfa-logos your leather seats have, but they have "alfa romeo" printed into the fabric of the middle section, so it might just be a matter of having the center section re-done with new fabric.

Will be picking them up tonight, quite excited, even if it will take quite a while for me to fit them (unless they are a straight swap off course, which i doubt)

Any pics or details of these GTV seats?

This is a pic from the seller, havent had a chance to snap any pics myself, it was 11pm when i finally got home last night and dragged the stuff into the garage.

The sit quite well, not as bucket-y as i remembered, but still a nice piece of chair. Havent measured the rails yet to see if by some miracle they line up with the cento's mounting points. They are a good bit lower then the stock cento seats though, and if all goes well should even retain the ability to acces the back of the car (not that i care, rear seat was junked months ago), since they slide/fold forward.

Small adition, i just took my measuring tape to both the GTV chairs and the cinq, and neither the width nor the length of the rails match up, the GTV rails are about 5 cm closer to eachother then the cinqs

So i'm probably looking at some custom welded rails/adapters here.

Good luck with your seats mate, Mine are going in the bin tomorrow as no-one wants them!

You're getting rid of the alfa seats? put them up on alfaowner or something, there's bound to be someone wanting leather in his alfa over there.

And yeah, my gtv seats are a long term project, first got some other stuff to sort out, but since i picked them up for free, i though i might as well.
