Hi all. Firstly, can anyone help me to find a replacement aircon pipe that goes to the bulkhead. The one i currently have on has a leak at the point where it fixes to the bulkhead. Can't find one anywhere and being told nobody will repair old aluminium piping on aircon. Hoping someone knows of a pipe sitting on a shelf somewhere or otherwise. Do any Multi owners on here use a reliable source for parts unavailable ? Lastly do we have an owners club anywhere in the country ? Thanks.

Use eper on the forum to find the part number of the pipe. Then post the part number here.

go on eBay, search “fiat multipla breaking” message the people who are advertising cars as breaking to see if they have the pipe.

While normally I don’t like getting at people who just ask for help, in this instance you do need to help yourself a bit, eper is very easy to navigate and find what you want you just need to take a bit of time to go through the links above, and as I said, message those people on eBay

While the diagram is easy to navigate the problem i'm finding is that there is no part number to put forward when searching. It only gives you No1 which is the pipe but thats not a part number, only a diagram reference. Thanks though, i will try ebay again.

If you scroll down the diagram

You will see a series 1s
Next to each 1 is a part number

Look at the whole page next to each part number is a further number that if you click on gives info on which vehicle options the part number is for......

I will give you a clue GD is the right hand drive models

You know the number 1 links to all the possible part numbers in the list below, it depends on your car’s configuration so you need to find the part number that matches your car.

Click on the i in a circle for extra info regarding what part is comparable with

I think there is an option for entering your vin into eper and requesting it shows parts relating to your vin.... someone else may be able to help with how to or say if I'm wrong

Update on the aircon pipe. Good news - i've managed to source a pipe and now is the day when i get it pressure tested and gassed up if all is well. Fingers crossed it should be as it was under pressure when removed so thats encouraging there won't be a leak. Will come back if alls well !

Not good news. Had pipe pressure checked but alas, there is still a leak somewhere. Told the condensor looks okay and there were no visible leaks. Could it possibly be the seals somewhere ? Is there any other place there could be a leak anyone ?

A good air con place would add uv fluorescent dye to the system then search for leak using uv light source and filtered spectacles.

There could be a leak inside the cabin from the evaporator or pipe work.

Fingers xed you get a solution

Gonna get it looked at from underneath at my own garage. Changing the pipe seals wouldn't do any harm i'm sure.
given the age of these cars now it could be leaking from any number of seals around the system so this is a must if you've not done it already.

one other word of caution is that leak tests where they draw a vacuum can cause all the pipes to pull together with the force of the vacuum and the system shows there are no leaks but when pressurized with gas it pushes the pipes a part from one another and finds cracks and gaps in the seals.
