Hi, so I’ve had my Tipo a couple of years now. I had the original stereo replaced with an aftermarket pioneer unit as my car came with the basic DAB unit with no screen. Since then the pioneer screen has broken, along with the original USB port, steering controls, and speakers. I wanted to switch back to the original stereo. So my question is, is that even possible? I have the old unit but the original wiring isn’t with it (something I didn’t even think to ask when getting the after market one fitted) ill attach some pics of the wiring behind the unit, if that helps anyone with an understanding answer the question 😬

Thanks, if anyone can help I’d be very grateful ☺️ View attachment 464951

The loom that plugs into the Pioneer (I assume it's the Pioneer on the photo) might be an FIAT - ISO connector. Try taking it out further away and look if there isn't a big connector attatched.

Could be like that, or similar:

The original FIAT connector should plug on one end, the other end should be connected to the Pioneer unit.

Check how the socket looks like on the original radio, you'll need what to look for.

If absent, someone smart should be able to combine / swap / adapt the cables, there usually is a connection diagram on the radio unit.

Attached the FIAT eLearn doc on the RHD radio.

As the Green Vanper said, the wires going into the back of the Pioneer radio are usually in the box with the radio, but on the other end is a normal ISO connector, you just need to pull the Pioneer out and see what is connected there. It is very rare that people cut and wire radios in any more because of pretty much all cars using the ISO connectors.

One point with fiat's is that they did some weird things with how the standard Fiat radio gets signals from other systems in the car, so there may have been some fiddling with the power wiring, but you need to pull the wiring out a bit further to see what's really going on.
