Decided to buy a 595 Turismo, Grigio Record Metallizzato, 8-2018, with less then 12.000Km on the clock, and most of the nice goodies on it, including Red Brembo's, and remapped to 185 hp.

Ok I have to once again ask what will probably a daft question, but what are winter tyres ?,I've read them mentioned in a couple of different posts,
Are they like the studded snow tyres they use in Europe ?, or something else.

I can only tell you what is the legislation in Germany. A real winter tyre is a tyre that has the mountain/snowflake symbol on the sidewall and in case you have an accident on winterly street conditions your assurance will pay. The M+S marking only indicates that you can mount this tyre on a vehicle with higher top speed than the tyre's speed index, when you put in addition sticker on your dash board that indicates this maximum speed.
