It has been told that the 9 speed gearbox has filters in order to keep the oil clean. In order to clean or exchange the filter the complete engine has to be taken out. Can you imagine the smart idea??
Has anyone experience in cleaning filters?
Has anyone flushed the gearbox?
Has anyone flushed the gearbox in reverse direction in order to clean the filter and flush the rubbisch out?

According to the makers, the fluid should be changed at (long) intervals but the filter is not normally changed.

My interpretation is that the filter capacity is large compared to the small level of contaminants normally produced, so it should function without restricting flow for the lifetime of the transmission. If there was a fault producing a high level of contaminants the transmission would have to be removed for repair anyway.

From where did you get makers input?? How long are long intervals?
