A friend of mine went to an auction at Sandown Park race course the other day and told me about a 500 that sold.
He told me about the mismatched interior and the lime green paint it had and the fact that the engine bay was tidy but not anything special and that it sold for £9000.00 ish.
So I had a look on the Internet and it had a list price of £5000 - £6500 and it appears to be a 500 with Dynamo rather than a 650, so doesn't appear to be modified. It actually sold for £9530.00 plus what ever the auction fees are it must have cost the buyer over £10,000.
Have a look yourself on the link below but it just goes to show how even more than ever the 500 is sought after and selling for eye watering prices. Personally the colour scheme is not to my taste inside or out but hey everybody is different.
