Was that an OE Fiat thermostat?

I've had "hundreds" (or rather *not* hundreds, because they've hardly every gone wrong...) of thermostats. I've only needed to change them when my old bangers get to 10-12 years old and the thermostat gets lazy.

My variouse Alfas have all had the plastic heater take-off stub and I've never had any issues... so I'm curious/slightly alarmed if there is a common known problem connected to the OE gear, rather than a "PRC original".

There was quite a spate of failures on the 1.2 at one point, even at low mileage, but not read about it on a TwinAir before. Wonder what mileage that TwinAir had done

Reminds me to tell my Cousin that her late 2016 500 1.2 will be due a cambelt & water pump in a few months. It's only done 20,000 miles but as we've seen, that doesn't usually matter with belts (or thermostats).
