Technical 500 Hybrid Instrument Cluster

Hello all. Have acquired our new (but 3 year old) 500 Hybrid due to the untimely parting of our old 500 1.2 Lounge . Slowly getting accustomed to the ‘differences” of having the standard instrument cluster (Multifunction Display) as opposed to the 7”TFT (Colour Display).

We have 2 AMBER ‘seat’ lights that are not referred to in the Owners Handbook 02/2020 4th Edition that come on with the ignition but extinguish a few minutes after driving off (see photo ~ above the 100mph scale) … I have a hunch they might be related to the 2 rear seats (reminding seat belts) but not 100% sure. Need to get some gainly volunteers to come for a ride

Also, cannot find a way to brighten/dim the speedo instrument cluster at all ?? The only options we have in the MENU are:

Speed Beep
TripB data
See phone
Buzzer volume
Button vol.
Service ->
Passenger bag
Reset tyres
Exit Menu

Have tried with lights off/lights on but no further options. Also tried the Settings on the 7” UConnect … Display option … but that seems to just control the brightness of that unit and have no effect on the speedo cluster ?? Might the instrument cluster be ‘fixed’ brightness ?? The owners handbook suggests there should be (and was in our older 2017 7”TFT display) a Dimmer option within the MENU (indeed, it was/should be the first option !!).
