Hi all

I’m after from anyone who has also had this issue. Due to some engine upgrades, I have fitted some bracket extensions to the bottom of the engine lid.

This has resulted in the top half (more so the lid latch) no longer striking the hoop.
is there any part or method anyone else has used that solved this?

I don’t want an open top lid, kinda need it to be closed at the top.

Any tips or advice would be appreciated

TIA

I've never really delt with this issue specifically, but here's my two cents. It sounds like the extensions are a touch too long, so, to my mind, you have two points of adjustment, ether replace the extinctions with a fractionally shorter set, to adjust the angle, or add washers between the lid and the latch. I suppose you could try welding up a custom set of brackets to your desired length too. 🤷‍♂️
I'm just seeing that you posted a while ago, have you come up with a solution since then?
