General 500 abarth colours

General 500 abarth colours

All, spoke to a dealer today who told me the following...

All dealers have a form to place an order for an ABARTH. These then go to Fiat who will compile, contact you and collect a deposit. This is the process until the official dealers are announced.

As I say, this is only what I have been told, I will find out this weekend when I try and fill a form in !
All Fiat dealerships do have the form, but that doers not mean the dealership you put your name down with will be the one that supplies the car.

Abarth UK will place your order with the nearest Abarth dealership to you.

I have already filled in one of these forms, mind you it's only a single photcopied A4 sheet, asking for very brief details e.g. colour. You will be contacted by fiat directly in due course.
The purpose of that form is to gather a list of those that are interested, with an indication of which model and which colour they are interested in, so that they can pre-plan initial production.

Once Abarth UK are ready to take firm orders they will be contacting people on their list in the order in which they registered their information.

Wow! You have managed to put an order in already?

I went to my local dealer and they couldn't tell me if they were going to be an Abarth dealer and said none had been announced yet.

If only I could find out what local dealer is going to be the Abarth one. As i'm near Manchester, I'm guessing Stockport is most likely as there isn't a Fiat dealer in the middle of Manchester apparently.

all dealers who are abarth already know! glyn hopkin romford is one where i work we are ready to open nearly. should be end of next week with grande abarth! 3 being delivered!

Went past Stoneacre in Rochdale (were I got my 500 from) and one part of there showroom was completely empty, as if they were ready to put something up. If they're an Abarth dealer I'll be REALLY surprised, especially with there customer services, thats if they actually have any

Si

my guess is they are gonna be then because the italians want the showroom section empty as we did! by ened of this week u will see glyn hopkin chadweel heath take shape. il post some picks this week

Thanks, some great pics. Hope that means they will definitly be there next Saturday during the Goodwood FOS meeting. I am looking forward to seeing one in the "flesh".:):worship:

Am quite tempted to make last minute plans to goto Goodwood, have never been and the 500 Abarth being there is the perfect excuse.

So, it sounds like the dealers know who they are now, any word on who in the Midlands has gotten the honor then?

If anyone lives near Goodwood in Sussex they are parked up in the far corner of the paddock near the skid pan office, the place is open to the public so you can drive straight in and take a peek!

I am not sure if they will be at the FOS - but I will be, probably Friday and possibly Sunday!

Apparently they are here for a 'dealer familiarisation' event some time soon. Dealers from all over Europe will be coming over to the Goodwood race circuit to put them through their paces. All of the cars were 'sealed' with DO NOT OPEN stickers over all of the door, boot and bonnet openings..............if this was supposed to be a secret then parking them in the open at one of the UK's most popular enthusiasts race circuit was not a fab idea!! Well done FIAT!

It is always a good day out - expensive but worth it.

HOWEVER, there are no tickets on the day. You can ring and they will reserve them on the gate for you if you leave it really last minute.

i dont like how the front bumper sticks out when compared with the standard car, love the back end though and the wheels on the black one although the red stripe on black makes it looks like the a-team van
