30th August 2013, Poole Harbour - Quay For My Car - Italian Stallions
As my username implies I'm not a Fiat owner (booo!
) but would like to post a thread about an event some of your members in the Dorset/Hampshire area may be interested in attending:
Poole Tourism run a unique themed car event, every Friday, throughout the Summer. This year Friday 30th August is the inaugural 'Italian Stallions' , a themed event for Italian cars. All are welcome. The event starts at 6pm ends at 9. There is NO charge for display/admission.
For more details please see Poole Tourisms' Website
(Sorry I can't post URL, so Google Poole Tourism & Quay For My Car)
I have been asked by the organisers to point out a couple of matters to help the event run smoothly:
1) Please do not arrive before 6.00pm as the Quay is a no parking zone until then, so we have nowhere to put vehicles, and I know it causes frustration having to be moved on.
2) For those of you that may not know, the event runs from 6 .00 – 9.00pm and we park on a first come first serve basis - I think we can accommodate about 100-120 vehicles."
