Hi could you please tell me what size is the engine oil sump plug and do I need a socket for the oil filter? I have read conflicting info some say oil sump is t45 torx or a 13mm hex key? Also is the oil filter 24mm socket?
Also what size are the spark plugs? 16mm deep? Thanks

What is your problem? If you want to service your own car, you must own set of tools (not one or two sizes). You must be prepared.
First of all, specify the engine type (which 1,4 are we talking about: there are 3 or 4 variations)!
Oil sump is 12 mm internal hex (in 1,4 8V), Allen key. The 13 mm was in older Fiats (like UNO).
Oil filter is screw-on type, you need universal tool like that. Not chain type (filter is close to engine block wall, not enough space around).

If you are noob, beginner, you are obligated to SEARCH before starting another thread. See the Guides here also...

And another 'nasty' post from you!!

Thanks for the input.
This is a technical forum (right?). My posts are "down to earth", strictly technical, they answer the questions, regardless of "delivery/style".
I don't care if posts are "offensive". That's not my point (it's your nasty interpretation - like if you are searching for a content, that offends you).

Simple things like bolts/nuts sizes can be checked/measured before the job (so you can order more tools if don't have proper socket for example). This is pure logistics, no mechanical knowledge (no PHD degree in automotive field) required.

Guy can't even tell which "1,4" he owns.
Nasty things can occur, if he doesn't clean the sparkplug cavities (a lot of dirt can collect there and fall into cylinders).

I have a jaw type tool which fits onto a ratchet (3/8 or 1/2) for screw on oil filters, is there enough clearance to use this? It’s not my car, I was trying to help someone out so couldn’t go measure what I need. The guide says I need a deep 16mm for plugs so covered there. It’s 2012 punto “easy” trim which I assume has a 1.4 8v motor? It’s definitely not turbo.
