my motorhome has just started continually blowing Fuse1, which is 10Amp rated, I lose, instrumentation, indicators and warning lights. The issue is that I can leave it running on the drive and it all seems to happy, a short while after taking it out on the road the fuse will blow without provacation.
Testing so far includes measuring the voltage drop across 1/2ohm resistor in place of the fuse, to obtain current draw, readings I get on tickover and driving are approx 2Amps and when the indicators are going approx 5Amps. Replace the fuse go 10yards down the road it will blow.
Does anyone have any bright ideas as to what could the issue be.
Thanks in advance Jeff

You may have a cable chafing somewhere that is making contact to earth when moving. Possibly steering related??

the garage fianlly managed to sort before venturing off on holiday, it turned out to be the reversing switch.

Good, As long as you got sorted. There is nothing unusual about that fuse becoming stressed in a motorhome
