15' sub in boot? Does it fit?

hi,

i have recently become the proud owner of a 99' blue 80sx! Am so happy with it and am now trying to install some ICE. Want to go for a 15' and was wondering if any one else had fitted a 15' sub in the boot with enough space. Will it be too big that it touches the 6x9's in the rear shelf?

Any responces most appreciated! Happy to be a Bravo Owner!

Well, I have 2 15's and my amps laid out in my boot!

you can see it on gallery 1 on the guide thingy!


butmine is a brava, think the boots prob a bit bigger!

yep..brava is bigger + you have a really small box for 2x 15"...more a SQ one...

I still have to figure it out how to put a bigger box into my boot (need bigger for SPL)

out of interest, what sort of Db are you guys getting?

i had mine measured at 143.7 once, and 144.3 once, but normally gat around 143?

not enough cause of the stupid position of the subs - when i close the boot, it's only 1/2 inch of space between the subs/ports and the boot (my first box ever... )

so, i got only 140.x dB (got a PL .8kW on them, 2x300w rsm...)

I'm gonna make a new box like i said before and i'm hoping for something around 145...

or i may buy a new amp, steg 310.2, put it on 2ohm bridge, rougly about 2kW of rms power for both subs
that should bring me close to 150...i hope

Hit 143.x with just 800w and that was not even setup properly literly put the amp in 1hour befor going on the meeter. Aiming for high 140`s low 150`s with 1.5kw And setup properly.

dr sergio are those leather seats in your bravo? If so how much did that cost and it looks well good!!

You got 2000wts rms for each sub?! how many amps do you have then?

yes, those are leather sits, they were in it when the car was new, mail me if you want more pictures (it says "bravo" on each sit)

2.) No. I have 300w rms on a sub for now, but thinking of something around 1000w rms per sub = 2000w rms total. I'll use Steg 310.2 for it. (I'm gonna test the result before buying it, afcourse)

ok, pics of interior/exterior (btw, car not even 1/3 done, hopefully gonna get new front bumper next week + sideskirts, had hgt's on before, but were to "simple" for me)

(this is how it looked 6 months ago, with old alloys, sideskirts and front cadamuro spliter)
