Technical 126 1.8 16v reno valver conversion

well the fiat is all ready for the ne engine to be squeezed in !!!

the stock lump will offer a 140-150 bhp the car will remain to be rear engined and rwd, i am aiming to get the weight down to under 400kgs

the benifit to using the reno 1.8 16v is it so easy to swap it for a 2.0l 16v as used in the williams, which can be easly tunned to 190 bhp and about 170-80 fpt

so it should be a interesting drive

Yep, amazing, but why didn't you use a Fiat engine? Possibly a 2.0 twincam?

Steve he said why didn't he? He wants to use the 2.0 16v from the Clio and it's an easy swap and they give out serious amounts of power.

the reno lump is such a good design the block has oil jets under the pistons to aid cooling just like a turbo engine and the head is a really good design to work on,

the other reason is there are loads about oh and they can be turboed to run 300 + bhp
