I had a piece of leather left from the door cards I replaced recently so decided to give it a try and make a cover for my steering wheel.

It was difficult to cut the right pattern...

Here is the final result, never done it before...I am only a general surgeon...lol

Nice... a bit..

The colour looks strange next to the airbag cover/wheel centre (it also doesn't help that the airbag cover is plastic) but otherwise that's not bad work.

Does the horn still work with the extra thickness of leather under the airbag?

I thought that the use of horn is forbidden...especially here in Greece! LoL

The horn still working with the leather in place.

@ Ralf s the strange leather color matches the leather color at the door cards.

I'd echo what Ralph says - not really a fan of the colour at all but that's personal taste. Can't doubt your craftsmanship! Very nicely done.

I can understand that most of you would prefer the black color...but I wanted to match it with the doors.
