General Steering Rack Wanted for 2006 Fiat Stilo Arbarth

Being a RHD that might be very hard to find :( I couldn't find any open auction on the internet.

What's wrong with yours?

The forum ePER does recognize the part number, and lists it here:

And looking at the other part number details (46826720):

It was installed together with two engines:

1,8 16v EUR4
2,4 20v EUR4

It is not compatible with the diesel engines nor the 1,2 / 1,6 petrol engines.

I've found that there are/were repair kits available for this steering rack.

Ha, just went to close all the searches I've launched and I've realized that in fact there was one auction opened on the Italian ebay:

Before placing the order double check with the seller if it is a correct part!

Mine was damaged in an accident before I bought the car & the company that rebuilds them said to badly damaged to repair. I think the Italian Ebay is LHD so not suit mine.

Yes, accident damage might be too much to repair.

The one on the Italian ebay lists the same part number as you mentionned. That's why I pointed it to you. But it's up to you to check with the seller and eventually take the risk.

For the moment the only alternative would be car breakers. Lots of calls to check if they have this model available with two of the engines.

I have tried breakers, even in Spain, but nothing. I am not registered with Ebay but I asked my son to contact them. I appreciate your efforts & most grateful.
