I am getting some clutch slip and wonder if it is cable or hydraulic (and can therefore be adjusted or not). it is a 52, JTD 16v, no abs.
You'll laugh but this has started since I discovered a little pipe disconnected and connected it, van now has a turbo. It is obviously now hugely more powerful and the slipping came to light towing a caravan just after fixing this fault. Only had it 3 years.
list price for changing the clutch seems very high with 7 hours and 150 for part (and in all likelihood a flywheel to change also). currently coming in at 550 + 250 for flywheel. Yikes!
