Hi all,
I'm looking to lower my Mk1 punto and was just after a bit of advice and some pictures for inspiration :D my car is stock and on 14" steelies which i plan on keeping it on. I want to slam it so the lower the better (y) static drop only though.

That is amazing! Thats the kind of lows I want. Cheers for the link mate :D
Also what are those wheels, I need them in my life!

those wheels are from a lancia delta 1600 hf turbo they maybe a few more models but definetely hf as my dad has a 89 hf with these wheels .

Slamming makes the car useless in some degrees

you cant get over pot holes
Going through multi-storey car park levels you could grind out
Speed Bumps are a nightmare
driving through puddles, not just the wheels that have to plow its the bodywork too.....
And there is the next problem of getting the car jacked up as well!

Sure there are benifits of the handeling
But other costs like insurance and cost doing it are another thing all together

But do the lowering right - and it makes it soo much more tasty

cheaper alternative

Cheers for the post mate, yeah they are pretty nice but they got no dish (n) I'm really into the American tuning scene, epic lows and silly dish and camber :D i know its gonna be hard for me to replicate on my punto but i can try :p at the minute I'm on 14" stock steelies which I'm gonna tart up a bit with a lick of paint, maybe eventually get them banded and just get the car sitting as low as possible and practical. (had to delete the link because i haven't posted enough yet (n))

How about these badboys from a Maserati Biturbo?

They are pretty tasty, they remind me of TH lines. I love they way this is turning into a wheel thread :p I'm gonna re-direct the topic back to stance, but do keep posting any pictures or links that may seem relevant to interests :D
