Hi can anyone please advise how to remove the icv on a 2003 punto , there doesn't seem to be a guide anywhere , it's not the one with the two scews in , that would be too easy , it's the one that seems to just be pushed in , however it's pricing to be a pain to get out to clean , thanks

they dont come out
try and find a low mileage replacement if its gone faulty
be warned of new reconditioned garbage though
i had a panda last year low mileage car with a brand new throttle body but customer complained revs hung when foot of gas
after many test drives and plenty of live data i couldnt get it to do this for me and wondered if he was after a soga return then it did it
i could only cure by replacing the body with an old punto one i had in stock

1 guy did mamage it... i dont think it cured his issue?

How many people have idle based issues, and tbh a quick rev and it clears....

Hi there, I had to replace my idle control valve on my mk2.
I used a jubilee clip around the control valve and used a flat bladed screwdriver to pry it out .
Then I refitted the new one bench vice and a appropriate size socket, squeezing it in slowly.
Worked for me.
