It is thought that the MPG shown in the Diesel Multipla computer readout is about 20% out.
In my experience the average consumption is 33-35mpg but when brim to brim test is carried out it worked out at about 40-42mpg
The reason that is thought to be behind this is that the fuel computer uses American gallons in the readout instead of Imperial, which would work out about right.
