I had before Punto mk2a 1.2 8V and this was quite a change, i have hgt now for more than one year and i am very satisfied.
Its fast, it corners great for a stock car and its good looking too.

I like it!

Re: Punto HGT mk2b 1.8 16V

This car is probably my favourite on this site. It doesn't look chavvy or anything stupid. Everything done is well thought out and it looks very stylish. You must be nearing completion now, this car looked incredible on day one as stock, and you have made it look unreal. Love the videos, the roads in Slovenia look incredible, very quiet, unlike here in the UK, so many vehicles.

I would say I envy you, but, I love my car, and, you must spend a lot of money on Petrol :D

What do you think of my ride? (https://www.fiatforum.com/members-motors/270357-mk2b-sporting-16v.html) As a man with good taste, where should I go from stock? Tempted to debadge just the Punto part, as you have, and leave the sporting badge. Your rear end looks brilliant.

thanks

Actually as i said car is finished.. just some small details ;)
About the petrol.. if i drive it "slowly" i can get low fuel consumption.. but who drives with 130hp slowly? I didn't buy this car to look at my fuel cons..

Slovenian roads.. yeah they are nice but still bad... filming is done on "nice" parts :D

PS: i would left you a post in your theme but its locked;)

Hehe, very true indeed - drive fast, more fun :D

Glad it's finished, you must be so pleased. Maybe post up some more vids as they are such good quality. Love hearing the engine noise inside and outside. Mine sounds much the same inside but can't say i've heard it outside, so I'm not sure :p

Sorry about my thread, it got locked for having two tiny images not hosted on this website! How annoying. Anyway, check back in a few hours hopefully it will be reopened.

Thanks

Re: Punto HGT mk2b 1.8 16V

Your car is insane and by far the best mk2b I've seen.
How you were able to fit everything is crazy, how did you manage it?

Also where did you buy your seats?

Re: Punto HGT mk2b 1.8 16V

@Butcher: it stays black, it will be too much silver otherwise

@danAS: got seats from a friend, he had them in punto GT and when i first saw seats i said that i want the same seats.. now he sold the car and kept seats and sold them seperately and guess who bought them... 4 years old, but like new, even stiches are still white :D
Fiting them into a car was a project and its not finished, i will have to modify driver seat and move it 2 cm to the middle of the car..

And cant wait 4 point belt ;)

Re: Punto HGT mk2b 1.8 16V

Well they look top in the pics on the previous page.
Have you ever had any problems with the roof? what that easy to do?

tnx!

Carbon foil project is off, because the left side of the car was repainted and the italians (the car was imported from italy) didn't do it good, so when the test foil was removed the paint went with the foil... so i don't want to risk doing that and than i have to repaint the whole car.. :)

The rim is ultraleggera, superleggera is the old model :)
