Re: MK2b Sporting

I'd leave the calipers and drums black as it emphasises the smallness of them and lack of rear discs if they're red.
But maybe red centre caps? That's the look I'm doing for my Sporting wheels - black with red centre caps.
I like the wheels that colour (y)

I like how you have the abarth badges on yours, wish mine had the abarth side skirts tho :/
might be a new upgrade for me to look for :)

Re: MK2b Sporting

Centre caps come out easily, I changed mine for caps with the new red badge.

I'm after some abarth skirts too but not willing to pay the 213 quid they go for new! Red calipers do look ok on black 2b's, there's a user on here (from Ireland I think) that did it and it looks good imo.

Re: MK2b Sporting

Oh yeh I saw that too on here. Also came across it on eBay too when browsing skirts.
You coming to the next mid month meet?
And I never really looked at your car at Nin. I wana see it properly next meet! :)

Yeah ill be at the next mid month meet and at the one at the end of the month no doubt
If we both get there on time we may get a decent parking spot
Should hopefully have everything finished on the car then apart from the exhaust
Should be dropping it 50mm next weekend

Is it just a case of taking the wheels off then just pushing them out?
I might get some new ones if thats all it is

Re: MK2b Sporting

I need the money from teh lowering kit
And i dont wana drop it 50mm, even though it would look sweet just coz i do a lot of driving for work and its just guna make that difficult
Ill let you decide at NIN

Im aiming to do the calipers this weekend. Cant do it when it rains coz ive not got a garage to do it in. going to spend a few hours giving them a thorough clean this week which should save time then i can do them on saturday morning
Takes 24 hours to set fully tho according to the instructions so im just guna leave them til sunday and it should be fully dry

I dont know what to do next though......i want some of the abarth side skirts and the abarth spoiler but i cant afford yet
and I wouldnt mind the boot smoothing but again, no money
