Punto (Mk2/2b) My MK2 Punto

Introduction

Well i havn't been on here for a while so here are a few pics any comments welcome!

Going for the subtle look and kinda euro style in time, bonnet has been smoothed, rub strips taken off, handles and mirrors colour coded, angel eye headlights, mk2b rear lights, 16" alloys, lowered 90 on FK coilovers also for exterior mods. Lots of mods to come, Car is in body shop next week for boot smoothing and roof smoothing, along with the front bumper being smoothed.

Rear bumper will be after maket murker one which is smoothed and abarth skirts put on in next couple of months with doors smoothed also and filler cap relocated to the boot.

Keep an eye out for updates!

Not updated in here in ages. Pics galore!

This was completed about 2 months ago now. Luke from Plush has worked his socks off for the last month to get this complete for me with me nagging him all the time!

I have had a smooth custom dash, half red pepper leather and the top half black alcantara with a custom aluminium crafted air vent, Audi TT vents, glove box trimmed along with handle, and fuse box cover smoothed and trimmed in red leather

The trimmed aluminium vent, not the best picture but work of art :)

Boot build! Now I have a big ass battery for the hydros so Luke needed to come up with summit, racked his brains for a bit, and he came up with this.......

Thats right, my back seats are motorised using 2 switches in my boot panel under the seats flip forward to reveal the amp ;) classy

Now the seats, roof which has been smoothed pillars and parcel shelf all trimmed in red pepper leather. Now we have also done little trick touches such as, trimmed the door sills, trimmed the seat belt buckles at the top etc. Doors are trimmed at the top in black alcantara and red leather

The car is fully sound deadened, all audio wired in, a Hertz High Energy 10" sub, Audsion LRX6.9 amp and Hertz hsk165 componesnt speakers along with the Pioneer P88 headunit. Sound fantastic :D

Couldn;t be happier with the outcome, really need to see it in the flesh to appreciate it more tbh. The centre consol by the handbrake is also trimmed and have a red leather gear gaiter also :)

Smooth black hydro box

Hello,

I still have a question concerning the Mk2b rear lights. I have a Mk2a (3 doors) and I would like to fit them on it. So I contacted a supplier and he told me it won't be possible, because the fog-light is on the back by the mk2b and not in the light box.

Is it true? How is then possible that a lot of people can fix it?

Thanx in advance.
(sorry about my bad english...)

No its not true at all. He is confusing them with the extra reflectors that are found on the back of the Mk2B. The mk2b light clusters are a direct fit, as I and many others can testify.

OK.
So I can conclude it's just a matter of plug and play and no adaptions needed?!
Thank you for your fast reaction :)
