My Uncle has been building this little monster for 3 months solid! Completely designed & hand built - most parts are lathed & machined by himself, Its for grass-tracking & has set him back 15k so far!
He used to be the UK grass-tracking champion running a space frame (like this only WAY bigger with a great big Chevvy engine in the back) but one landed on him when has was officiating & packed it in, so now he builds them for customers.
It has a mini (old shape) pickup shell which has mounting points scattered around the space frame.
Little picture of the rear
Fibreglass bucket
Coilovers - Compression & rebound adjustable with the brakes from a scooter
Fully adjustable rear anti-roll bar, with the rear coilovers 3 way adjustable with bike brakes on the rear, can just see the rear solid axle (chain driven mounted to both engines so if one has a problem, it doesn't just pull one wheel)
Speaking of wheels - the 2 rears have these frame jobbies around them, because they only run 10psi so more of the tyre is touching the track, they have these frames on so the wheels don't pull the tyres off:slayer:
Sorry to babble on, but this thing blew my mind! the single-engined 1100 cbr things he builds are fast enough (0-60 round about 3.5 to 4 secs) but this thing is just plain daft... I have a video of him starting it up if anyone can host it / anyone wants to see it
