The first is the piece of plastic trim at the back of the dashboard close to the windscreen has come away, I see that there are tabs on it but I can't seem to get it to clip back down and when I feel where it is meant to clip into it just feels like there is nothing to clip it into. Does this just glue back down?

The second issue is I have this warning light which has appeared, I checked the manual and it says the warning light comes on when one of your headlights, sidelights etc is failing but I've checked all of my lights and they are all working, How do I get rid of this?

Thanks, Ross

With regards to the plastic trim, it appears to be one of the many endearing features of the GP. Solutions range from getting a new one fitted, gluing it back down, screwing it back down, using a nailgun, or having an elephant sit on it.

My own has popped up, and it makes a handy visual reference for how much hot air is blowing up at the windscreen (at least, I tell myself this).

PS. 2 of the above solutions are fake. Do not deploy an elephant.

no idea with the trim,
BUT with the bulb it's basically measuring the resistance of the bulbs in the cars lighting circuit,
if you've changed a bulb - or 2 lately that could be it..wrong / different rating.. common issue with LED bulbs,
Charlie

I haven't changed any bulbs or anything since I got the car in May so not sure why it has just came on all of a sudden.

Haha ah and I thought the elephant wasn't one of the fakes (n) think I will just glue it it's not so much it being raised up it's the rattling noise it makes when I'm driving when it moves about :bang:

As best I recall, those who have glued it have wedged it down with some form of soft toy animal...

I've not done mine, as I tend to get a tad frustrated too easily, and that windscreen is just too close for comfort (or indeed, elephants).
