Mk 2 Punto 1.8 16v HGT for sale. Orion grey metallic, blue sports interior. I'm the fourth owner and the car has done 62,200 or so miles (in regular light use). MoT until April 2025.
Electric windows and mirrors, RDS radio cassette with 5-CD changer, ABS, ESP, trip computer etc.
Excellent body - the car spent most of its life in London (first owner had the car to 2014) and it is very solid unlike a lot of 2/2B Puntos with rusty undersides. Note the absence of corrosion related issues on the MoT history! Very good paint. Interior also very good albeit with a little wear to driver's seat (see pictures).
Standard mechanically and a lot of work done recently - cambelt, all tensioners, variator, water pump, thermostat, new gearchange pivot plate, and new exhuast back box. Recent full service too. Cosmetic work in my ownership has included two brand new original headlights, side repeaters, and new rear badges. The alloy wheels have been refurbished and wear 4 new Toyo Proxes tyres.

Goes very well indeed. Only issue is that the air con, while still just about working (the compressor engages), is weak and there appears to be aircon dye coming from the heater box drain (it is not coolant), suggesting it may as a minimum need new expansion valve O-rings or worst case a new evaporator. Fixable, but fairly involved if air con is important to you!
But a great proposition overall, and increasingly rare and interesting. And not yellow!
Private plate not included but maybe there is a deal there. Original reg is LS02 XGE and I have two very good original Desira dealer plates with that number on.
