Just curious? Got a nice small turbo laying around that would probably spool nicely on the 1.1 and give some extra punch. 5-7 psi? Not sure i'd want to rip the block open to put lower CR pistons in as i've never done it. Heard 1.2 16v pistons lower the CR? Thanks :)

You mean without lowering the CR? Some folks in PL would tell you that you can run 1 bar (too lazy to check how many psi that is) on an engine with a higher CR than stock, subject to proper engine control. With lowered CR you can do way more, but control is again crucial. Personally, with all my experience so far I would probably attempt running 0.8 bar on stock CR. Actually, I am not even sure if my engine is not at stock CR atm :D

Well if you're running 0.8 bar thats 11PSI, so my 5-7PSI seems pretty reasonable? What management have you had to run to get that going?

Very sophisticated :D Check the thread in my sig, nice bed-time read (y)

pretty sure the old van aaken low blow kit was 5psi and completely untouched internals and no intercooler.

whereas their high boost kit has machined pistons to lower CR to 8.5:1 and they upped the boost to 10psi (hardly high boost really in the grand scheme). My seiT is a VA high boost, currently running 15psi. My old cinq turbo was originally a low blow VA kit with a decomp plate fitted and that ran 25psi for many many miles and never had any issues. They are pretty strong engines from my experience.
