okay so in the run of cento/sei there have been a few engines fitted.
the 704cc OHV (31bhp) & 903cc (41bhp) ones we shall skim over as its uber rare in the UK but were available in mainland europe.

this engine is the 1108cc OHC(overhead cam)is the SPI(single point injection)engine. (54bhp)
fitted to all cinquecento sportings.

s,sx models were fitted with the 899cc OHV (overhead valve)engine (39bhp)
this is actually a reduced capacity 903cc unit but is more sophisticated.

seis used the same engines with the s,sx and citymatics using the 899cc and sportings the 1108cc. late seis were fitted with 1108cc MPI(multipoint injection) OHC engines and the 899cc phased out. this was circa 2000 when the sei had a facelift.
