At the front of the underseat storage compartment is a small recess, into which your locking wheel nut key will fit perfectly!

Also, the tray which forms the compartment is just clipped in & can be removed without tools in less than 10 seconds, which could be useful if you ever need to clean it out thoroughly. To remove it, just unclip, working from the front, & lift out.

I've also posted a pic of the part number as this might be useful to RHD interscope owners without one.

Anyone actually managed to change over from under-seat storage to having a the sub in there? Or anyone know how it's done?

I'm really interested in doing this. My KA has exactly the same under seat storage, i thought the seats were quite different between the cars but obviously the same underneath.

On the factory-fitted 500s with interscope, I believe the sub goes under the driver's seat.

Yeah i noticed that. Strange if you select interscope it deletes under seat storage but it shouldn't really be affected.

Yeah i was thinking that because surely if it goes under the drivers seat, how is the passenger seat storage effected, maybe the amp goes there?

The amp is located in the OSR quarter panel but I think the reason for excluding the underseat storage is more to do with the LHD market. I also fail to see why it should affect RHD cars but there must be some logical reason.

OMG how irresponsible!!!! Now everyone will know where the locking wheel nuts are on cars without leather interiors or interscope!!!! Oh NOES!!!!!

Just as well mine's got leather then, so I keep mine in the boot with the spare wheel. Oh no, whoops!!!!!!

Having seen the inside of production line based engineering, it'll be because somewhere there's a build instruction that says "Vehicles with Interscope- delete underseat storage" with no differentiation between LHD and RHD vehicles.

sorry if I should know this, but where is the locking wheel nut key? Or do I need to buy one?
