Styling Lowering

Having never lowered a car before, I wouldn't know how drastic to go... 40mm, 60mm??
Any advice?

anything upto 40mm will be ok with standard shocks although you may want to replace with new shocks as it puts alot more stress on them, old ones will probably die quickly with lowered springs. 40mm+ you should get matching shortened shocks with the springs. How low you go depends on your preference, quality of the roads you mostly drive on, wheel size etc.

As with most things, you get what you pay for with suspension so i always recommend you go for a well known quality brand.

And check with your insurers before you do anything.
