Hi. I can't unlock the sliding door using the fob. The lock is stuck (locked).
The external door roller came out of the runner, I refitted this, but the door is misaligned, I think. Because the top of the door isn't connected to the retaining bolt.

Probably have to take the panel off the inside of door to access mechanism and after you have got it to open, realign door correctly.
Most big van side doors take a lot of strain and need regular oiling and correct adjustment.
Before retiring I did many on Iveco Daily's and some Fiat Ducato etc.

I've taken the panel off but mechanism is behind a welded metal support. I can't get through lock off because the door is shut & locked.

These are views from inside & outside..
The only other option I have is to break open the mechanism, try to open the door & then buy & fit a new one.

Is it the top latch type that is causing it or the main lock?
Can you get a mirror and torch up inside panel and see if you can pull the rod or cable on some versions to the release position and whilst holding it in the release position give the door a "kick" or gentle persuasion;) to let go?
Other than that it may be worth taking a chance and prying the door up into correct position and relocating top lock assembly where it appears to have ridden over the catch, which is common when big doors drop, if then door is closed evenly, it may unlock as normal and then if you carefully support it as you open so it doesn't drop this may let it slide back allowing you to access for repairs.
It all depends where it is actually jamming.

Thanks I'll try all of that.
I think the 3rd photo shows the mechanism is locked.

I've tried everything that I can.
The door moves in mm but I still can't unlock it. There are 3 wires attached, do you know in which combination they need to be connected? to release the lock. I think the connection parts are not connecting because of the gap & the plunger in one of the connectors that has to be depressed.
I have ordered a new lock mechanism, incase I have to resort to destroying the original mechanism.

I am sorry I don't know the wiring side, but I am sure someone on Forum can guide you re that, there may even be ePER details you can download re your model.

Thanks for all your advice.
I will keep searching & let everyone know how I get on.
I have a few things to let you all know, when I have this sorted.

There is a lot of electrical information in the x250 Training Manual, which is available in the Downloads section at top of page.

On P146 of the larger file, N167 is the side door lock motor. The deadlock is shown unconnected. The lock motor is connected between pins 6 & 7 of the lock motor assembly.

If injecting 12V into the door lock motor, only a brief pulse should be applied. I would be over cautious about back feeding the BCM, if possible disconnect D197 first, if you can locate it.
