In this pic there is a cable not attached. Looks like its the throttle cable. How is that connected ? I would assume its and eyelette or something like that that does on that bracket.
There's probably a purpose made swivel connector that attaches the cable to the spare hole in the throttle fulcrum lever.
I've not seen under the bonnet (hood) of a Spider for about 20 years.
The connector is likely to be a small "U" shaped shackle with holes in each of the legs for a cotter pin and split pin. The crimped on ball on the end of the cable could fit in a slot in the well of the "U".
Just found this in the workshop manual. I appears that the cable connects to the throttle butterfly spindle, not the lever. If you take tha air filter off, you'll probably see where it belongs.
I was looking at the mechanics manual and found that it does indeed attach to that bracket. Does anyone have any idea where i can get that connector or something similar? That is the only part i need and the car will be back on the road. I have searched for weeks and still have not come up with anything.
